The IOX department was formed to help partner with Investment Operations to accelerate the delivery of new business processes in order to scale and grow Capital's business. IOX supports this through utilizing and innovating methods to deliver insightful business analysis and produce efficient process design. IOX works closely with other Operations leaders as well as key partners in project management, information technology, and operational excellence.

As an IOX Manager based in Los Angeles, you play a key leadership role partnering with our Investment Operations (IO) business to deliver on their strategic imperative to grow the business. This includes ensuring the ability of IO to support new fund launches, invest in new asset types, and optimizing current processes and operations. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to four business analysts based throughout Southern California and help partner with Senior Managers and Directors to drive the business forward. This role is accountable for supporting teams to operate smartly from a people, process, and technology perspective. This includes accountability for setting goals and objectives for the team, performance management and development, and long term, strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

* Provides business leadership in the development of the overall solution for new products and services, ensuring that the required capabilities are implemented effectively within the impacted areas of Investment Operations. Identifies capability gaps required to support the operationalizing of New Products / Services.
* Collaborates with Investment Operations business teams to proactively advise on the need for future business processes and/or regulatory changes while anticipating impacts to people, processes, and technology.
* Leads the development of business solution options, including the development of multiple solutions, evaluation and selection process and the mobilization of project resources to deliver the required solutions. May partner with IT when solutions encompass a technical component.
* Keeps abreast of internal and external trends and determines how the impact of those adjustments will affect business operations.
* Fosters a culture where associates feel valued, engaged, and able to connect their contributions to the broader strategic priorities
* Builds high performing and engaged teams through intentional performance management and development.

Qualifications:

* 3+ years' experience in a management or leadership capacity in a large, complex, global organization; financial services or investment management industry experience strongly preferred.
* An undergraduate degree required; CFA, MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
* Demonstrates ability to lead and manage projects with significant complexity across multiple teams or groups.
* Demonstrated track record in driving change, making a business more effective and efficient, and effectively influencing others.
* Skilled at problem solving, developing practical solutions, conveying ideas and recommendations, and influencing key stakeholders to drive successful implementation.
* Strong strategic mindset and critical thinking skills, including the ability to conceptualize and grasp broad and complex ideas and lead others in developing business plans.
* Working knowledge of Agile principles, design thinking, digital enablement, project management, process design and re-engineering.
* Working knowledge of the investment management industry, investment mandates, investment vehicle structures, investment operations, competitive landscape, reporting and regulatory environment.
