Job Description

-->The accepted candidate will work closely with other members of an Agile software development team to create an advanced Cloud-based Web App serving maintenance information to over 600 airline customers world-wide. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest in software development tools, technologies, and methodologies such as Spring, Angular 2, Git, Jenkins, Eclipse, Ruby, Chef, AWS Cloud, Cucumber, VersionOne, Selenium, Mobile Design, Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Python, and more. This position is for an entry level Java programmer and includes working with product owners to understand the customer needs and designing and implementing the software changes required to meet those needs. Accepted candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability take a general work statement to a specific result both independently and as part of a team. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences through a variety of communication mediums. Experience with Java is required. Knowledge of the Agile-Scrum software development methodology, cloud computing, Web application development, systems analysis, technical writing, and requirements gathering is highly desired.

Candidates will work under the guidance of lead developers and senior architects to perform the following:
- Design, develop and implement Java based solutions as a member of a an Agile-based feature team
- Leverage test driven development, automated test tools and a continuous integration and build environment to deliver high quality solutions
- Work with project managers, support organizations and management to ensure all release commitments are met on schedule and on budget
- Create and pursue a development plan that grows both technical and people skills and positions the candidate for increased responsibilities and future opportunities

Level 1 - Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Level 2 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
