The Air Superiority & Strike analysis team in the Virtual Warfare Center has a need for an additional operations analyst who is interested in working difficult problems at the front end of the business.
The analyst will support customer-focused constructive analysis and modeling and simulation to address a variety of capability gaps within the Air Superiority & Strike domains.
The Air Superiority & Strike team is responsible for producing Family of Systems constructive and virtual analysis for future fighters, future bombers, and future weapon concepts. Observations derived from the analysis will be used to inform Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) investments and drive Phantom Works capture strategy.
Preferred candidates will have:
Experience with AFNES/AFSIM, Brawler, or other simulation tools or computer programming
Engineering experience in Electronic Warfare, Modeling and Simulation, or Air Superiority and Strike missions

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
Typical Education / Experience:
Level 1: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 2 Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
A Bachelor of Science degree or greater is required.
Preferred degrees include aerospace, systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar scientific or engineering fields of study.
A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AFNES/AFSIM, Brawler, or other simulation tools or computer programming is a plus.
Engineering experience in Electronic Warfare, Modeling and Simulation, or Air Superiority and Strike missions is also a plus but not required.
