Accounting Intern

Aurora Flight Sciences, a subsidiary of Boeing, is seeking a motivated, energetic, analytical, and intellectually curious intern to support our Accounting team based in Manassas, Virginia. Our successful intern will work closely with our Accounting Manager to help track and ensure consistent Cost Accounting Standards across the enterprise. In this role you will:

* Review project costing across our business operations.
* Recommend changes to project costing to ensure compliance.
* Help with our Cost Accounting Standards Disclosure Statement.
* Assist with other Accounting projects as need arises

Required Qualifications

* Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)
* Possess a Strong Academic Record Pursuing a Degree in One of the Following:
* Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics or a Similar Discipline.
* Comfortable contributing to a team in a fast-paced, competitive and self-directed environment.
* Must have a high attention to detail, excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
* Must have strong excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
