Job Description

The Patriot Advance Capability (PAC-3) program is looking for an electrical engineer to work in the field of analog/digital and RF systems on a high performance airborne RADAR system.

Responsibilities

* Working with a cross functional team of engineers
* Supporting the existing production design
* Developing, and testing new designs

The candidate should expect to work the engineering team in translating system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, designs, and test specifications. The relevant RF-analog-digital system is used in a military system.

This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with interest or experience in the interface between the RF, digital, analog, and power domains to apply their skills to the design, integration, test, and production support of an existing program.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Experience with analog and digital circuit design, packaging techniques, and power systems
* Experience with circuit design tools (SPICE, Mentor Graphics, Hardware Description Language (HDL))
* Working knowledge of circuit design parameters (throughput, rise time, clock frequency, propagation delay)
* Working knowledge of computer hardware and software components (processes, memory, interfaces, high order languages) and characteristics (throughput, processing hardware, timing, capacity)

Preferred Qualifications

* Hands-on experience with RF analog components and high-speed A/D converters
* Experience performing failure analysis root cause corrective action in a production environment
* Experience working on products used in a manufacturing environment

Typical Education / Experience

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
