Job Description

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) The Barber National Institute is seeking an experienced senior level administrator to become its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will direct the preparation of all financial reports; oversee the finance department, budget preparation and audit functions; analyze projections of income, profit and operations to pinpoint opportunities and prioritize financial planning. The CFO also recommends investment of funds and is the liaison with banks and/or investment bankers. Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field. CPA designation preferred. Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems. Eight to ten years experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical and organizational skills. Experience in a non-profit environment is preferred but not essential. Position is located in Erie, PA. The Barber National Institute is offering a therapy group for Camp Connection's participants this fall. The group is designed to help the children stay connected and maintain the friendships and social gains they made at camp this summer. This therapy group will focus on play skills, conversations, perspective taking, and expressing and managing feelings. What Does Connections Have to Offer? Connections can offer children a unique approach to learning play skills through art/play instruction.
