A Day in the Life of a Human Resources Intern

Bell Helicopter is seeking students for a Human Resources Internship interested in Human Resources in one or more of the following areas: Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, Culture and People Development or Total Rewards.

Responsibilities May Include:

* Manage human resources policies, procedures and programs.
* Assist management in the decision-making process of different human resources functions: organization, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, employee development opportunities, employee orientation and training, etc.
* Active participation in recruiting and selection processes.
* Assuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Assuring an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Education Requirements:

* Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher at the time of the Summer Intern Program.
* Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or closely related strongly preferred.
* Must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
* 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA.

Minimum Requirements for a Human Resources Intern at Bell:

* Able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 26th- August 7th).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills.

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
* Ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management and employees.
* Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts, and other information.
* Works conscientiously both autonomously and within a team environment.
