A Day in the Life of an Information Technology Intern

As an Information Technology Intern for Bell, you'll be a part of the Technology team at our Global Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. You'll take part in a fast-paced internship which will consist of projects, activities and hands-on training to facilitate your learning. You'll have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders and subject matter experts who will be mentoring and coaching you to success.

During your internship, you will be assigned to a specific Technology team where your responsibilities will be aligned within Identity Access and Management, Collaboration & Customer Experience, Custom Development (.NET), Packaged Applications, or ERP/SAP Support. You will:

* Observe and discuss business operations, team-working environment, leadership and management styles.
* Shadow team members and supervisor to gain detailed insight to department operations.
* Formulate alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development.
* Collaborate with team members, management, and cross-functionally with other departments depending on the scope of the assignment(s).

The intern will work full-time during the 11 weeks of the internship.

Education Requirements:

* Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program.
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business strongly preferred.
* Must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
* 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA.

Minimum Requirements for an Information Technology Intern at Bell:

* Good communication skills, both oral and written are required.
* Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks.
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Action oriented.
* Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 28th - August 9th).

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

* Any work experience demonstrating responsibility, work ethic, customer experience.
* Personal discipline, interpersonal communication, leadership skills.
* Passion for their role.
* Professional associations.
* Interest in the manufacturing industry.
