Be the engine behind driving operational performance in Customer Service processes providing manufacturing of packaging material solutions

The Supply Chain Operations group at Tetra Pak is the engine behind driving operational performance in the development and manufacturing of packaging material and related solutions of superior quality to our customers. We have a commitment to quality, environmental competitiveness and continuous improvement to support growth.

We are now seeking an Intern to support our Customer Service team within the Supply Chain Operations group on projects related to the improvement of processes delivering KPIs and data-driven reports for our, and our customers' use. In this position, you will work with the Customer Service team on practical projects to improve reporting, data analysis, system management and customer experience.

We expect Internships to last about 6 months part-time hours during the Fall Semester starting in September 2, 2019. This position is based our Corporate Office in Denton, Texas.

Main Responsibilities

* Learn and use our World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies
* Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement of:

o Reporting

o Data Analysis

o System Management

o Customer Experience

* Develop action plans and work with the Customer Service Representatives to drive the actions and improve results
* Learn about the role of the Customer Service Representative:

o Understand order management and design administration

o Claim administration

o Forecasting and relationship building.

Qualifications

* Students must:

o Be actively enrolled in a nationally accredited university

o Be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field, although other disciplines will be considered

o Be starting their Junior or Senior year

* Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
* Experience in analyzing data
* Formal learning and/or experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Customer Service or Customer facing experience in any environment is preferred

Housing is not included as part of the program.
