Job Description

Your Role:

The Junior (Jr.) Channel Sales Manager will work in conjunction with Tenable's National Channel Managers in supporting a specific National Partner. The Jr. Channel Sales Manager will act as a sales liaison between distributors, a named Channel Partner, and Tenable sales personnel. The Jr. Channel Sales Manager will support sales endeavors across all of Tenable's products lines.

Your Opportunity:

* Train partner sales reps on how to sell Tenable solutions
* Work with partner sales team in identifying Tenable opportunities
* Conduct joint conference calls with end user prospects
* Execute awareness campaigns at partner
* Manage lead distribution and follow up
* Create and deliver accurate quarterly and annual forecasts and strategic plans
* Develop engagement plan with partner and Tenable's Sales Teams
* Drive Channel partners sales and technical certification
* In conjunction with marketing team, develop and assist with the execution of lead generation campaigns for the purpose of pipeline development

What you'll need:

* A minimum of 2+ years of experience managing or working for channel partners in relation to technology sales
* Experience working with National Channel Partners
* Documented track record of success

And ideally:

* College Degree strongly preferred
* Familiarity with the network security marketplace strongly preferred
