Teledyne Controls is seeking an entry-level Windows & Embedded Software Engineer to generate and support the development of software on Windows, embedded and test platforms to support Airborne and ground based software. Essential duties: - Write, review, edit and trace software requirements. - Design, implement, document, debug software written to meet software requirements and design - Develop software in Windows programming environments such as Visual Studio and C# and embedded environments such as C/C++. - Design, code and execute comprehensive unit tests - Support system test creation, review, execution and results documentation. - Support software releases through a formal Software Configuration Management (SCM) process - Support all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields - At least one to three years' of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Basic knowledge of Windows programming environments using Visual Studio, C#, embedded environments using C/C++. - Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Basic to Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Abode Acrobat - Background or experience in Aerospace / Avionics Engineering strongly preferred This is a full-time opportunity with one of the leading providers of sophisticated solutions designed to help operators increase flight safety and operational efficiency through more efficient aircraft data and information management, located in El Segundo, California.
