Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leading global manufacturer with a long history of producing quality products, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer. This client strives daily to continue that history by ensuring that process improvement happens. Essential duties include identifying areas of constraint to problem solving process issues in all aspects throughout the plant while supporting plant safety. For the right candidate, relocation costs will be paid by the client.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ yeas of Continuous Improvement or related experience.
  • Ability to be a team leader of projects/trainer of basic lean concepts.
  • Possess excellent communication and people skills.
  • Understand the manufacturing process.
  • Hands-on experience facilitating Kaisen events.
  • Lean Manufacturing/Sigma Six principals.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Experienced with continuous improvement principals of 5S, Visual Factory, 3D, and SMED.
