Position: H7 Part Time Financial Services Representative

Reports To: Financial Services Assistant Manager


A high school education or GED.

Minimum of 1 year Branch operations or related experience required. Knowledge of TFCU systems, products, services, policies, procedures and protocols required. Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and detail orientation required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Builds/strengthens member relationships by greeting members in a courteous/ professional manner, providing superior member service and responding to their questions accurately and efficiently.

Opens new member accounts, IRAs, CDs, and assists members with their banking needs by servicing existing accounts, completing loan applications, approving loans within prescribed dollar limit and disbursing funds, and troubleshooting online banking issues.

Cross-sells TFCU products and services by advising members of rates, benefits and features, staffing display tables and distributing brochures/literature, identifying potential sales opportunities and establishing accounts.

Assists in proofing Branch ATM transactions by counting cash and checks, deposits/withdrawals/ transfers, and investigating issues. Re-pins cards, releases funds and adjusts accounts as needed, and contacts members to advise them of issues.

Assists members with opening/closing safe deposit boxes by verifying member identity escorting them to/from the vault and maintaining logs. Audits Branch safe deposit boxes, prepares monthly usage reports, and handles annual billing exceptions.

Services the Branch coin machine where appropriate by troubleshooting problems, emptying/filling it, updating the log, proofing it at the end of the day, and as assigned, entering required information into the appropriate GL account and preparing currency for shipment.

Tracks inventories of gift cards, official/temporary checks, debit cards and Branch supplies, advises the Assistant Manager of the need to reorder and logs in/securely stores incoming shipments.

Keeps abreast of and complies with TFCU policies, procedures, guidelines. Keeps the Assistant Manager informed of activities, conditions and issues.

Participates in community relations activities by attending street fairs and visiting local schools/businesses to promote TFCU membership.

Works in other Branches/TFCU departments, and performs the duties of a Teller as assigned.
