Job Overview

TE Connectivity (TE) Corporate Technology Digital Engineering/Manufacturing/Operation (DEMO) Group has an opportunity for an Intern in Software Systems' Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in software and electronics. The Software Systems Engineer will report to the Digital Engineering Manager and interface directly with the Digital Factory team to gain hands-on experience while interacting with various areas of the company.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


* Assist with design and implementation of software / firmware for embedded devices, network software and back end systems
* Develop protocol stacks to allow for communication to industrial machinery and sensor systems
* Implement cloud-based communication api's to deliver data to cloud services
* Develop user interface using web-based technology


* Working towards Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS/CE/EE)
* Experience with various software languages: JavaScript, c/c++
* Exposure to Linux environments, virtual machines, bash
* Basic understanding of network topography
* Embedded firmware, RTOS experience a plus
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and computer skills
