Job Title:                      Health & Safety Manager

Salary Range:              £29,993 - £58,238 + Benefits

Tata Tube Products are one of Europe’s leading tube suppliers with a long and successful track record in the industry. Our products and services are specially packaged to meet our client’s needs whether they are in the construction, conveyance, lifting/excavating and agricultural machinery.

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager for our Corby site. Within the role, you will provide professional Health and Safety expertise and leadership to the Corby Site, to manage and improve the Safety, Health and Fire activities on the site, and to ensure that the site remains compliant with statute and certified systems.

This position is a key role within the Corby Site Management team, providing expert advice and leadership on all health and safety matters.  The role has a site-wide remit, and as such covers all areas and functions.

As the designated “Competent Person”, the incumbent of the role carries the delegated responsibility for Fire Safety across the site, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.  In addition, the job holder will be the first point of contact for external statutory bodies such as the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or associated discipline, and should hold a formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Management (eg, NEBOSH Certificate) and in Fire Safety.

You must also be able to demonstrate a track record of success in the management of Health and Safety.  A NEBOSH Diploma would be desirable
