Distribution Center Openings:

The Tampa Bay Times, Florida's largest and best newspaper is seeking motivated individuals to work in our Home Delivery Distribution Centers located throughout Tampa Bay. Candidates must have a good driving record and submit to a criminal and credit background check. Must be able to safely perform all physical and lifting aspects of position, such as ability to safely and repeatedly push and pull carts, lift newspaper bundles up to 40 lbs and similar physical movements. Candidates will be self directed, reliable and perform with the highest levels of integrity, respect and urgency. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance required.

Field Assistant

This key position will assist in the fulfillment of day-to-day business and distribution operations in assigned geographical areas and distribution centers. Assists in operational functions and builds strong relationships with customers, staff and independent contractors. Early morning schedule of 25 - 28 hours per week. Starting pay of $11.22 per hour with benefit potential. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends between midnight & 11:00 am.

Product Coordinator

Responsibilities include coordinating the flow of products throughout the distribution center with primary emphasis on quality control. Position coordinates and performs staging of advance products. Position also performs operations which includes distributing newspapers to independent contractors and computerized tracking functions. Early morning schedule of 25 - 28 hours per week. Starting pay of $10.24 per hour. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am.

Delivery Center Assistant

Responsibilities include redelivery of the newspaper and the resolution of customer inquiries. Morning schedule of 18 - 20 hours per week. Starting pay of $9.00 per hour. Mileage paid. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends between 6 am and noon.
