Employment Status

Full-Time, On-site


  • Provide technical support related to Talis Clinical's software and hardware solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to end user queries/issues, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems and implement solutions.
  • Develop a high proficiency in the service and troubleshooting of Talis products.
  • Become an expert in all Talis product solutions from a user perspective, to help diagnose and resolve client issues.
  • Effectively communicate with Clinical Engineers, Project Managers, and Clinicians to facilitate resolutions of their needs.
  • Track and document calls and escalate them appropriately
  • Facilitate client training on site for biomedical engineers and clinicians
  • Troubleshoot issues using Microsoft Management Studio, and prioritization of tasks and assignments based on established SLA's.
  • Develop training materials for end users including FAQ's, training manuals, and tutorials.
  • Identify opportunities of improving the product based on direct communication with our clients.
  • Be on-call 24/7 for one week each month.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work occasional late hours, if required.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong computer, application, and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to respond effectively to all ranges of end user knowledge levels.
  • Experience in a health care environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of operating room medical devices.
  • Knowledge of network Servers, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.

  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one


  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, IT, or related field
