Employment Status

Full-Time, On-site and travel


  • Travel to client sites to install Talis hardware and software solutions at the clinical point of care; may travel at times up to 100%; this position is primarily offsite.
  • Ensure that all installation projects are completed on schedule.
  • Provide support and deliver customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
  • Develop a high proficiency in the installation, service, and troubleshooting of Talis products.
  • Become an expert in all Talis product solutions from a user perspective, in order to help diagnose and resolve client issues.
  • Effectively communicate with Clinical Engineers, Project Managers, and Clinicians to facilitate resolutions of their needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues using Microsoft Management Studio, and prioritization of tasks and assignments based on established SLA's..
  • Identify opportunities of improving the product based on direct communication with our clients.
  • Availability to work late hours if required.
  • On call responsibility if required.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of network Servers, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
  • Experience working with tools.
  • Strong computer, application, and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in a health care environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of operating room medical devices.

  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one


  • Associate Degree in IT or Clinical Engineering required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
