Job Description

Overview

Performs tasks requiring application of standard electrical engineering techniques and procedures. Standard design of electrical systems and technical work involving electrical design and inspection specifically within the Transportation and Infrastructure Markets. Work is subject to review by professional engineering personnel through oral and written reports and by inspection.

Responsibilities

* Apply fundamental principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
* Perform detailed calculations
* Establish standards and specifications
* Ensure conformance to design and specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
* Observe operations
* Inspect completed installations
* Compile data and write reports
* Conduct field surveys
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and Engineer in Training certification. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous internships or relevant experience required. May be entry level with relevant internships to 4 years experienced.
