Job Description

Overview

The Staff Engineer/Assistant Engineer will assist the construction engineering staff in performing a variety of tasks and assignments using standard procedures and techniques to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

* Apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks as part of a broader assignment
* Adjust and correlate data
* Perform calculations and analysis
* Ensure compliance with plans, specifications and regulations
* Address technical questions and issues
* Monitor progress of work
* Maintain project records and related documentation
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, previous internship within the construction engineering field. May be entry level up to three years of experience working on construction management projects in the transportation sector.
