Job Description

Boutique finance company located in Northbrook. We provide pre-settlement funding on Personal Injury, workers compensation, nursing home and third party cases. Seeking a secretary/office administration. Candidate needs to be bright, personable, detail oriented, excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have excellent computer and phone skills.

Essential Job Functions:

- Data entry

- Preparing loan documents, emailing/faxing to clients and attorneys,

- Filing, copying, faxing, printing labels

- Answering phones, finding out information on clients, preparing information sheet with client information, contacting law firm finding out about case information

- Some experience with social media, must know or self-teach constant contact & linkedin. Handling of creating constant contact emails and creating ads on constant contact.

- Calling upon attorneys/paralegals to get updates on cases in litigation

- Handling payoff queue calls (small part of the position)

- Regular attendance and punctuality is required


- College degree preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Computer literate

- Dependable, professional and good work ethic

- Out of the box thinking welcomed

Job Hours: Job will be about 30-35 hours with potential for full time employment and benefits. No benefits until full time status.
