Program Manager

The Program Manager will assist in overseeing and maintaining the strategic development of all of our conferences and large events from start to finish. To set the parameters, policies, and processes including but not limited to managing deliverables and the workflow, providing the support and execution of components and assist team members in their skills and goal to grow within the company.

* Responsible for developing strategic marketing/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments
* Seek to develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying and closing new business
* Quoting, developing, scoping new services solutions via email, phone, or in person meetings
* Consistently collaborating with Configuration Services teams on projects and initiatives
* Maintain strong relationship and collaborating with all facets of customer base - internal and external
* Identify volume and strategic customers and develop partnerships accordingly
* Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction from acquired information
* Periodically creating reports to management team
* Create & deliver live presentations at various meetings, events, and training classes- internal and external
* Proactively develop innovative ways of uncovering new business
* Program managing and developing services and overseeing through execution
* Regularly meet and/or exceed goals
* Attend some events and meetings, may need to travel a couple times a year
* Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as requested
* Strong attention to detail
* Effective organizational and time management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and timetables
* Ability to respond to change
* Ability to lead - setting direction, developing teamwork and collaboration, and achieving results through others

* 3- 5 years of event planning, marketing, program management or business development experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Knowledge and previous experience with project management
* Knowledge and previous experience with meeting, event and incentive programs, and participant registration preferred
* Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly
* Must be able to take direction and work well with others
* Must be able to work under the stress of and meet deadlines
* Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures
* Must be able to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned
* Travel domestically for assigned events. 25%- 35% of your time will be traveling (including nights and weekends
