Syneos Health is currently engaged in a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with Lupin Pharmaceuticals for an Area Sales Manager position.


This opportunity is a Direct Hire position with Lupin Pharmaceuticals. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing field-based representatives. You will:

  • Manage a team of Field-Based representatives with a focus on Women's Health products
  • Business Plan Development and Tactical Plan Execution to support the national product strategy in Regional Territories
  • Responsible for driving regional sales and market share to meet or exceed revenue objectives for the promoted products
  • Responsible for controlling expenditures within approved budgets
  • Market Analysis to understand the market competition and customers in designated areas
  • Business Region Expert in identifying strong relationships to develop new business opportunities
  • Responsible for the recruitment and development of Hospital sales representatives; Timely and accurate goal-setting and performance evaluations administered
  • Liaison between district and other corporate departments such as Marketing, Finance, or Human Resources
  • KOL Development experience in Women's Health
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and managed care environment
  • New product launch experience is preferred
  • Regional, National, and local travel is expected, up to 50% or more travel
  • "Startup" experience with a small pharmaceutical company in the institutional setting is a plus


  • BA or BS degree from a 4-year, accredited college or university is required
  • 4 to 6 years of experience managing a team of Sales Representatives
  • 1 to 3 years of Specialty experience, Women's Health preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • Documentation of sales rankings, sales awards, and commendations
  • KOL Development experience in Women's Health
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and managed care environment
  • New product launch experience is preferred
  • Regional, National, and local travel is expected, up to 50% or more travel
