Job Description

Overview

• Serves as primary point of contact for multi-project accounts (external & internal contact lead)
• Oversees project and financial management functions for multi-project accounts

Description of Duties

Client Management
• Determine and lead plan of action for delivering projects with little oversight from senior management
• Facilitate regular touch points with client to gauge performance and develop relationship
• Create process for efficiencies and areas of improvement for account and project work
• Demonstrate understanding of InVentiv's service offerings and client products and therapeutic areas
• Works with clients to continuously evaluate efficiencies that translates into cost savings (i.e. volume discounts, cancellation policies, reschedule policies, etc.)
• Work with Logistical lead to develop best practices and communication standards for the most effective and efficient use of time

Project Management
• Demonstrate superior organizational skills in the following areas:
• Project timeline development and carry through
• Information and task delegation to internal team members
• Internal process compliance
• Client teleconference and meeting preparation
• Project initiation and action plan development (internal and external)
• Ability to manage multiple projects within a given account
• Demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills with clients and internal team members
• Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and make decisions independent from senior management

Financial Management
• Demonstrate superior organizational skills in the following areas:
• Estimate and statement of work development for new projects
• Client signed estimate, PO, and invoice tracking
• Regular and accurate budget reconciliations for all projects
• Communicating budget-related details to client
• Demonstrate ability to analyze project utilization reports and identify areas that require scope and budget changes

• Identify areas for organic new business growth within account
• Demonstrate ability to discuss future project work with existing clients
• Identify areas for improving existing and future service offerings
• Demonstrate a very strong understanding and acumen of the following:
o Therapeutic area marketplace
o Product and brand

• Assist senior management with assigned proposal and new business presentation development

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 3 years of medical communications or advertising experience
• Medical Communications experience is a plus
