Responsibilities

The Field Talent Manager (FTM) is primarily responsible for managing operational responsibilities associated with the deployment of field sales forces where client employed District and Regional Managers are responsible for sales direction and adherence to client marketing plan. The FTM supports the sales direction through coaching and developing of the representatives. The FTM helps insure that the activities of the professional sales representative contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the contract. Additionally, the FTM is responsible for insuring specific goals are met and expenses are managed in a fiscally responsible manner. The FTM participates in district, regional, and national sales and training meetings

Other duties may include:
  • Foster a team oriented and supportive working environment with client sales management team.
  • Communicate regularly with client sales management team.
  • Responsible for all required training and administrative functions.
  • Accountable for allSyneos Healthemployees' human resources issues, including performance appraisals, disciplinary action, development plans, etc. keeping client sales management team informed at all times.
  • Achieve all contract performance goals and objectives as established in the client agreement per geographical assignment.
  • Manage expenses within geographical responsibility.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of sales representatives. Minimize turnover through selection process. Create a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with sales representatives and provide performance feedback.
  • Participate, as requested, in internal meetings to update progress and suggest positive solutions to specific issues and/or opportunities. Provide opportunities for personal & professional growth within the sales organization. This includes communication and programs, which foster an environment that rewards accomplishment and encourages the advancement and retention of productive employees.
  • Participate in company programs, which focus on individual development.
Requirements
  • Education:4 years Baccalaureate degree
  • Pharmaceutical Experience:1-3 years prior experience in a management capacity highly desirable.
  • Operations Experience Preferred
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver's license to drive toassigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
