Job Description

ID Analytics is a leader in credit and fraud risk solutions with patented analytics, proven expertise and up-to-the-minute insight into consumer behavior. Position Summary

As a software engineer intern, you will work on our core products and services and support critical functions within ID Analytics engineering operations. You will collaborate on research projects to develop software applications and prototypes to build upon ID Analytics product offerings. You will build strong competencies in software engineering, testing complex systems, and contributing to a team. You will work with some of the latest technologies, cloud environments, programming languages, methodologies, operating systems, and data storage.

Principal Duties

You will use your deep curiosity, problem solving, creativity, analysis, and coding skills to:

* Build and improve complex software applications across the full stack.
* Troubleshoot and correct issues involving system behavior, configuration, and performance.
* Analyze large quantities of data to find patterns, trends, and identify potential features or problems.
* Explore machine learning
* Develop tools for automation and process improvement.
* Write unit tests.
* Grow your skills through a combination of individual and team projects.
* Participate in project design and planning meetings.
* Share your ideas and be open minded as part of teams where all members have a voice.


* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
* Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Java and Python.
* Solid foundation of core computer science theories including algorithms, time complexity, and data structures.
* Knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating system.
* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability.
* Possess a technical fascination for how stuff works.
