Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) Biomedical Equipment Technician Uncertified to work for the Clinical Engineering Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Biomedical Equipment Technician Uncertified is responsible as an entry-level Clinical Engineering Technician position

In this position you will:

* Performs major and minor repairs on equipment as assigned.

* Applies good problem solving skills in a variety of situations.

* Performs incoming inspections, cleaning, unscheduled maintenance, and calibration.

* Performs and completes preventive maintenance assignments in accordance to the Medical Equipment Management Plan.

* Inspects preventive maintenance stickers in assigned areas. If outdated PM stickers are located equipment must be inspected and returned to service promptly.

* Submits accurate and timely work orders in accordance with departmental policies.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Associate's degreee in Electronic Technology from an accredited program or equivalent education/experience. Military training may be considered as an alternative.
* Eligible for AAMI/BMET certification.
