Job Description

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Pharmacy Intern to work Per Diem (Variable Shifts) at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Pharmacy Intern may, under the direction and supervision of a pharmacy preceptor, perform all of the duties of a pharmacist except the final check of medications.

In this position you will:

* Enter medication orders, including entering charges and credits, to ensure up to date patient medication and billing records
* Fill routine orders from computer generated medication labels
* Offer essential drug education to patients by verbal and/or written consultations

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy

* Current license to practice as a pharmacy intern in the State of Washington

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Prior experience in a healthcare environment
