Job Description

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Physical Therapist (0.9 FTE, Days) to work in Physical Therapy at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The physical therapist (PT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of therapy services. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for physical therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.

In this position you will:

* Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
* Implement treatment program
* Reassess treatment results and discharging planning

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Graduate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy
* Possesses valid Washington state physical therapy license, interim permit, or temporary permit
* CPR required
* For designated therapists completing home safety evaluations access to a vehicle or transportation is required. A valid driver's license and valid vehicle registration form is required. In the case of a newly relocated individual, a Washington state license must be acquired under the circumstances and within the required timeframe set by the state of Washington. Possession of the minimum (or greater) insurance coverage as mandated by the state of Washington also required.

The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system. Swedish/First Hill has one of the most active and advanced birthing programs in Washington state and houses a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit.
