Job Description

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Outpatient Rehab Services at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.

The physical therapist (PT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of therapy services. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for physical therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.

In this position you will:

* Evaluate and develop individualtreatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
* Implement treatment program
* Reassess treatment results anddischarging planning

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Graduate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy
* Washington state physical therapy license, interim permit, or temporary permit
* Valid driver's license and vehicle registration
* Insurance coverage as mandated by the State of Washington

Preferred Experience:

* Strong clinical skills anddedication to oncology population are required.
* Certification in Lymphedema and/or experience
* Training in mindfulness, andrelaxation therapies
* Experience with patients incancer rehabilitation.
* Strong Myofascial/ Manualtraining
* Background in exercisephysiology, especially as it related to patients with chronic diseases.
* At least two years' experienceworking in outpatient rehabilitation
