Incentive Plan Coordinator (Atlanta)

The Incentive Plan Coordinator (IPC) reports to the PWM Sales and Incentive Manager and will be responsible for paying sales incentives timely and accurately and driving business results by supporting appropriate incentive strategies for sales teammates and sales managers.

The IPC serves as the primary internal customer contact responsible for the successful execution of the sales incentive plans for specified PWM teams. He/she will support the design by, building and implementing the plans. The IPC effectively interfaces with the supporting technologies (leveraging internal business and IT teammates) and business partners (Business Information Office, Finance, Human Resources and Total Rewards) to communicate and administer the incentive plans.

The IPC will be a professional who is able to learn quickly, be innovative in finding solutions and responsible for managing his/her work assignments in a timely manner. Activities may include overseeing varied delivery schedules, addressing questions, researching issues and resolving problems related to incentive compensation design and implementation and communicating with leaders regarding outcomes.

The IPC is responsible for oversight, execution, and accurate delivery of the incentive compensation cycles in accordance with Business Segment and Human Resources Policies and Procedures, as well as in compliance with applicable regulations as promulgated by regulatory bodies such as the FRB, OCC, cfpb, FFIEC, etc. The IPC will have direct responsibility for delivery of key cycle activities, as required, to support the team.

Additional Information:

The IPC will recognize the need for strict security of confidential information and be able to use good judgment and professional tact when handling sensitive and confidential matters appropriately and timely.

The position is expected to collaborate with sales executives, sales managers, operations leaders, human resources, business information office teammates, senior financial officers, compliance and risk managers, internal auditors and regulators when necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Driving change through implementation of improvement opportunities while delivering results

• Learning plan designs so that questions and issues can be appropriately addressed

• Seeking out solutions that do not create additional manual work efforts and support the business objectives

• Managing own schedule for completing deliverables with the business, by working with the various business support partners

• Documenting processes and procedures where needed to manage risk of the important activities that take place within the department

• Managing repositories of information evidencing justification for plan payments and exceptions

• Creation and implementation of teammate and client tools needed to deliver satisfactory teammate experience

• Setting metrics and goals to ensure sustainment of tactics

• Development and monitoring of control plans post implementation




• Business experience in process improvement, project management, business analysis and/or finance

• Experience participating on formal, defined operational or project teams

• Experience working with business procedures or developing business procedures

• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and understand financial calculations

• Ability to identify innovative solutions to meet and/or improve business results

Ability to influence decisions and behavior with effective communication, persuasion and negotiation skills

Minimum Requirements:

Strong financial acumen; proven strong leadership/coaching experience; strong conceptual thinking and analytical ability; Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy; 2-5 years of relevant experience in branch/area management.
