Marketing Manager - The onUp Experience at SunTrust Park-W440822


The onUp Experience - Marketing Manager is responsible for client engagement and store operations of The onUp Experience - SunTrust Park location.

Working in alignment with the Consumer LOB Marketing strategy team with input from the Sponsorships and Events team and the Brand Team, The onUp Experience -Marketing Manager leads to ensure consistent execution of The onUp Experience business plan, client engagement goals and adheres to all corporate guidelines.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day store operations of The onUp Experience including team management, technology management and store operations. This position is also responsible for driving foot traffic via scheduled special events and for delivering all agreed upon KPIs and business metrics. This position will maintain the budget for this location.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for training and managing a team of both SunTrust TMs (2 FTEs), a team of part time contractors (15-20), the contractor agency agreement(TPRM) and all associate business processes. This collective team is responsible for enabling the growth of the onUp Movement by coaching "fans" on joining the onUp movement and taking steps toward building financial confidence. The Marketing Manager and Contractors are responsible for upholding SunTrust's high standards for communications and confidentiality.

Specific tasks and functions for this role might include:

a) Ensure that all operating standards including policies and procedures are followed

b) Support, motivate, and assist team members to deliver a consistent and exceptional performance of customer service standards on a daily basis

c) Ensure all team members are fully trained in the physical operations of the SunTrust onUp Experience. This would include the consistent use of all training manuals and follow up of all company published materials and operational guidelines

d) Directly responsible for the development and supervision of TMs. This includes training, scheduling, and performance assessment

e) Analyze trends that will maximize opportunities for foot traffic. Evaluate underperforming actions and develop an action plan for turn around

f) Ensure all required paperwork, reporting, recap is completed and transmitted in an accurate and timely manner

g) Communication of pertinent information and issues to and from upper management

Reports to SVP Consumer Marketing and is responsible for the onsite activation of the

onUp Movement at The onUp Experience at SunTrust Park.


Minimum Requirements:

7+ Retail or Store Operations Experience (highy preferred)

7+ years' experience in sponsorship or event marketing for a major corporation or marketing agency; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing communications or sports management and extensive experience with regard to brand activations, sponsorship strategies and motivating teams toward excellence in execution.
