Communications Analyst-W442128


The responsibilities include supporting Consumer Operations' branding, culture, LOB communications, special projects and impact initiatives and programs. The right candidate for this position will have consulting experience and/or marketing experience preferably in retail and/or commercial banking, and has experience managing projects as well as communicating strategic plans and needs to the executive levels. This individual will serve as the "story teller."

Responsibilities include:

- Drive the messaging of the Consumer Operations Branding, Purpose and Mission statements via channels of communications (Intranet site, newsletter, placemats)

- Facilitate working sessions with executive management on a regular basis

- Translate and execute management concepts and organizational data into succinct presentations

- Design and build presentations for LOB leadership, Board of Directors, and Regulators as needed

- Manage the Consumer Operations Internship program (Coordination, recruitment, program management)

- Collaborate with subject matter experts and content specialists to convert information into effective presentations

- Create additional content that supports the organization's Purpose that can be used by all managers in communication and training.

- Assess and document the current goals of the organization and how it impacts the larger enterprise based upon VOT scores

- Develop content and coordinate Roadshows and/or town halls with LOB leadership

- Overall communication development and dissemination

- Development of supplemental training and workshops on operations, client servicing and process topics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Ability to take concepts, actions, plans and strategies and craft a concise, comprehensive story

- SharePoint site maintenance and design

- The ability to understand the corporate operating model and have the ability to work within the structure to deliver the desired change

- Understand the risks of the processes and procedures, as well as, the process dependencies on other operations or external factors

- Ability to quickly establish interpersonal relationships and build partnerships with teammates at several levels in the organization and with vendors

- The ability to work independently and readily recognize issues that require escalation to the management team

- The ability to obtain stakeholder agreement and negotiate changes with stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization

- Investigate and analyze all components of a proposed or presented solution to ensure all related technology, client tools and teammate tools are aligned or can be aligned with the new solution

- May serve as a coach or lead for other members of the team

- Must be able to sponsor or advocate change and act as a change catalyst

- Manage project budgets and spending

- Ensure that projects apply strategies and guidelines established by senior management and that management/communication processes are consistent across projects

- Ensure that projects meet the stated goals and do not negatively impact client experience or create new client pain points

- Facilitate ongoing review of project and initiative effectiveness and rework/revise when necessary

- Facilitate ongoing monitoring of project and initiative impacts to LOB and Group Ops staff

- Travel may be required pending special project needs


Minimum requirements:

- Minimum 5-7 years' relevant work experience that includes interaction with executives

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Expert working knowledge of MS PowerPoint

- Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop programs

- Proficient ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong communication skills; experience presenting to executive/senior level management

- Recognized as an expert corporate consultant in multiple disciplines

- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others.

- Expert knowledge of the business unit and related industry.

- Experience on project teams.

- Experience managing a segment of the project work.

- Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results.

- Excels in problem-solving, partnership, communications, persuasion, and negotiation.

- Must act as a change catalyst

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Ability to travel for projects assigned


- Preferred 5+ years experience in banking with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines related to the position

- Retail or Commercial LOB management experience

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

- Bachelor's Degree in graphic arts, visual design or equivalent preferred

- In depth knowledge of Retail Banking practices

- Broad knowledge of general banking practices across all LOBs and functional units

- Familiarity of key technology solutions deployed by the bank and critical applications used by LOBs/functions
