Job Description

Chief Deputy Auditor

Summit County Auditor's Office is recruiting a highly motivated Auditor to assist the County Auditor in administering and managing the Auditor's Office directives. Under limited supervision this position will manage and supervise audit work; plan complex audit programs; assist in supervising deputy auditors engaged in reviewing, evaluating, and recommending changes in performance, financial, information system, and operating procedures; and maintain effective communications with department heads. Extensive knowledge of internal auditing standards and procedures is required. Salary is DOQ.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or other closely related field and 6 years of closely related work experience managing auditing or accounting professionals, 1 year of which must be in a supervisory position.
