Job Description

Accounts Receivable Technician

Summit County is recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Technician with organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, to perform complex accounts receivable tasks. Responsibilities for this position include; monitor and create reports related to monies owed to the County, ensure the County receives payments and that transactions are recorded accurately, secure revenues by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies. The ability to work quickly and accurately with figures, communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, and provide exceptional customer service is essential. May hire from one of the following levels depending on submitted qualifications and experience.

Accounts Receivable II: Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely related field and 2 years of accounts receivable experience.

Salary Range: $18.74 - $26.23/hour

Accounts Receivable III: Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely related field and 4 years of accounts receivable experience.

Salary Range: $19.86 - $27.81/hour.
