Job Description

Solid Waste Supervisor Summit County is currently recruiting for a Solid Waste Supervisor. This position will be responsible for supervising, planning, and coordinating daily operations of solid waste facilities, including a municipal solid waste landfill, a construction and demolition debris landfill, and two waste collection sites. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school, plus one (1) year of specialized training provided through professionally sponsored workshops and seminars, technical college or in service; and ten (10) years of experience in operation medium to heavy equipment and tools related to landfill maintenance and construction or related specialty operation; two years of general supervisory responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required to have a valid Class B Commercial driver's license, or higher, is necessary for the satisfactory performance of assigned duties. Salary Range: $22.50 $31.52/hr.
