Job Description

Summit County Government is seeking a well-qualified Human Resource Generalist to perform a variety of complex analytical, professional, technical and administrative duties related to Human Resources.

$2,101-$2,311 bi-weekly, Depending on qualifications with excellent benefit package.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful and/or difficult situations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required.  Individual must be self-directed, highly organized, flexible, detail oriented, and have the ability to manage information and data in a strictly confidential manner. Critical thinking, developing solutions and improving existing programs to meet the ever changing needs of the organization are an important aspect of this position. Individual must have extensive experience with employee relations.

The selected candidate will primarily support the HR needs of all County Departments and will work closely with the Transit Department and the Summit Stage.

This position is exempt and is an in-office position and works Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and additional hours as required.
