Job Description

We are looking for a student currently pursuing their Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electric Service Technician, HVAC Technology, Electromechanical Technology or a related field to join out Wolf Design Lab team! The intern will be part time during school, followed by full time during break.

As an intern, you will learn and be responsible for setting up and running tests to applicable safety standards set forth by nationally or internationally recognized testing authorities such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and International Electrical Commission (IEC) for our Wolf (cooking) products. The successful candidate will also be required to troubleshoot and correct problems that arise during testing.

Our Design Lab Team is responsible for:

* Setting-up analog and digital data acquisition, performing development and agency tests per procedures and engineering direction, summarizing test results and communicating results to Design Engineers
* Maintenance/purchasing of lab equipment and supplies
* Maintaining the lab area, including moving test units with a cart or forklift
* Retrieving and assembling parts and necessary materials from the Stockroom and Production areas
* Enforcing work place organization rules/procedures
* Following proper safety procedures
* Assisting with other special projects as required
