The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science (SES) at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for a lecturer position in biomedical engineering, starting on August 16, 2019.

The candidate should be able to deliver a first-class teaching experience in introductory undergraduate biomedical engineering courses as well as select upper level and/or graduate courses. The candidate with experiences in biomedical industry will be a plus, but not required. This position requires that the candidate holds a PhD, or equivalent degree, in biomedical engineering or related field, and has previous teaching experience. In addition, the successful applicant will be an active member of the intellectual community and engage undergraduates in research.

Stevens Institute of Technology is a private university located in Hoboken, New Jersey. The 55-acre campus is on the Hudson River across from midtown Manhattan within a few minutes from NYC via public transportation. Stevens' superb location offers excellent opportunities for collaboration with nearby universities, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and major corporate research laboratories. Schaefer School of Engineering and Science is the largest school among four schools at Stevens.
