Job Description

Building Engineer

The State of West Virginia, General Services Division, located in Charleston, WV is seeking a Building Engineer with an architectural background. Job duties include, but are not limited to working under the direction of the A/E Manager to perform complex technical and administrative work in all aspects of design, construction and management of projects. Duties may also include representing department interests in the supervision of others. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering from a four- year accredited college or university, four years of full time or equivalent part- time paid experience of engineering, plus two years of full- time or equivalent part-time paid experience in commercial building project management in the area of assignment.
