Job Description

/ As an application support and solutions engineer, you will be a key member of the DTS CDS organization, helping to build a strong solutions team in reliability verification (RV) and electro-static discharge (ESD) analysis domains. You will apply computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. You will be involved in planning technical projects in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of CAD software. You will develop routines and utility programs to automate these tasks and ensure quality and consistency in our deliverables. /

/ Additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to: /

/ ' Working closely with the geo-dispersed and diverse design teams to understand their needs in the areas of reliability verification (RV) and electro-static discharge (ESD) analysis, and work with the stakeholders to implement solutions /

/ ' Interface closely with internal CAD development teams and with external CAD vendors to define, co-develop and validate new features in the CAD tools. /

/ ' Provide technical expertise, training, support and documentation on the supported tools and flows to CDS customers. /

/ /

/ You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. /

/ Minimum Qualifications: /

/ The candidate must possess Master of Science or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. /

/ /

/ Candidate must have 6 month of work or educational experience in the following: /

/ Proficiency in automation through one or more scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/(T)CSH/Python/Ruby, and a working knowledge of a high-level language such as C/C /

/ /

/ Preferred Qualifications: /

/ ' Strong understanding of CAD systems for Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) design /

/ ' Experience with CAD tools, particularly parasitic extraction (R& C), Reliability verification, delay calculations and noise analysis /

/ ' Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (issue tracking, code collaboration, version control systems, etc.) // // /
