Job Description

Outstanding Contract to Full Time opportunity as a Junior Network Administrator to work with a class leading local manufacture and design organization. Great people, family oriented culture, solid benefits including annual bonus, on site gym and convenient I-84/205 location. The Junior Network Administrator will provide email and telephone support to local & remote users on a variety of technical issues. Assist in maintaining/implementing multiple servers, switches, PCs, laptops, printers, IP phones, cell phones. Troubleshoot, maintain, and implement Windows server, Windows Professional, MS Office, PDM Works, and multiple web applications. Works closely with Network Administrator to prioritize and resolve tasks. Seek out ideas to optimize speed, reliability, and security of the network while working on potentially dozens of tasks and projects simultaneously. Able to train new users on basic computer and software functionality, and must be able to deal with users with little computer experience in a personable method with patience and compassion. Supports the Following: Android and iOS devices Advanced knowledgeable in Windows OS (7, 8.1) Windows Server & knowledge of Active Directory Microsoft Office 365 VMware PDMWorks/Solidworks Barracuda Backup Appliances SonicWall VPN A ShoreTel VOIP system HP Procurve Switches & other network devices Variety of laptops & desktops Working knowledge of Windows based applications and operating systems. Understanding of TCP/IP, switches, routers, VPNs and data networks. IBM iSeries/AS400 experience & knowledge a plus.
