Our team is seeking a process engineer to design and control manufacturing processes that consistently produce high quality custom microelectronics. In this role you will have the following responsibilities: + Develop New Manufacturing Process Technology - Work with business partners to understand the future technology needs of Tektronix Component Solutions customers. + Develop manufacturing processes in advance of customer needs to enable new business growth. + Design processes to manufacture new products - work as part of a new product development team to develop and implement manufacturing processes, influence manufacturability, and manage technical risks. + Improve and control manufacturing processes - provide process engineering support for existing products including process problem-solving. yield improvement, process monitoring, and cost reduction. **Qualifications:** Minimum Requirements: + US Citizen or Green Card holder + Bachelor's degree, or currently in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field (i.e. Physics, Electrical) Preferred Requirements: + Master's degree, or currently in the process of obtaining a master's degree in, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field (i.e. Physics, Electrical) + Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment This position's primary/essential functions are subject to US Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts.
