Position Overview:

Responsible for planning, managing, maintaining, coordinating and executing the server configuration process for complex, multi-tier embedded software systems in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
Responsible for maintaining the server configuration standards and scripts and will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in configuration management, product development and productivity.
Required to assist with the support of system administration and other version control technologies for the enterprise Software Configuration Management (SCM) standard application within the client's organization.

Education/Experience required:

Bachelor's Degree, or higher in technical related discipline or equivalent experience required.
Ability and willingness to learn new tools and solve problems.
Ability to work with remote teams.
Ability to effectively interface with end users and engineering staff.
Ability to work well in a changing environment with high expectations for execution.
Ability to work well in a flat, influence based organization.
Ability to market and sell solutions, helping others to understand the value of change.
Ability to demonstrate excellent matrix organization project and task management skills.
Ability to demonstrate experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment required.
Ability to demonstrate strong business analysis and presentation skills.
Ability to demonstrate strong understanding, based on solid experience in software and other technology development processes and methodologies.
Ability to demonstrate proven track record of successful implementation of CM(Configuration Management) processes covering multi-site, multi-technology scenarios.
Ability to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to demonstrate experience with Perl Scripting language and UNIX shell.
Ability to demonstrate familiarity with ClearCase, ClearQuest, AccuRev, Ruby.
5+ years' experience in software configuration tools administration and release management support in a MS Windows and / or UNIX environment and tools.
Experience with SCM (Software Configuration Management) concepts, tools, and methodologies are required.
Proficiency with Perl scripting language and UNIX shell is required.
Understanding of SCM (Software Configuration Management) processes is required.
Working knowledge of Continuous Integration(CI) and build tools such as Jenkins and Hudson is required.
Fundamental understanding of SDLC(System Development Lifecycle) process implementation required.
Familiarity with mainstream SCM (Software Configuration Management) product lines such as ClearCase, ClearQuest, AccuRev required.
Familiarity with Ruby is an asset.
Knowledge of 'make' language helpful.
