Job Description

In the Division of Construction Management, Office of Alternative Project Delivery, travels to attend project site visits to assist engineers with field surveys & visits (e.g., takes pictures using camera), gathers & analyzes data related to Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs), Core, Pave-IR, MIT Scan & related reports using computer & related software (e.g., using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access; Graphical Query Language (GQL)).

Assists in the general tasks associated with the Division of Construction Management; assists with the operational efficiency of work unit (e.g., handles sensitive inquiries, provides information both verbally & in writing, gathers & organizes information for reports, attends project-related meetings, researches plans & records, maintains accurate data of work performed, organizes materials & compiles information to assist in report preparation, attends training). Documents software & system processes & workflows using computer & related software (e.g., SiteManager; Microsoft Access & Excel) & mainframe to assist in literature searches, & collecting, processing & analyzing data). Assists with training internal & external end-users (e.g., prepares training materials, answers questions regarding the computer system, &/or provides technical assistance). Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

This is a temporary position involving various duties that permit exposure to the student's field of study &/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the student's education & meaningful preparation for future professional employment.

This Position is Unclassified per Section 124.11(A)(29)

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university within a program directly related to the position.

If operating a State-owned vehicle, must show proof of valid driver's license.
