Job Description

Under close supervision assists with the installation, configuration, management, & troubleshooting of enterprise networking equipment (e.g., desktops, laptops, routers, switches, IP phones & mobile wireless devices) in the WAN\LAN & other computer hardware, which may involve travel throughout the State. Assists with day-to-day monitoring & troubleshooting of network devices & trouble ticket resolution of network & telecom related incidents. Assists with the installation, management, & troubleshooting of enterprise networking equipment & UPS's. Assists with shipping & receiving of enterprise inventory & asset management utilizing the Fixed Asset Reporting System (FARS).

Performs other duties, which relate to technologies & devices used in the Department, as assigned.

Student should be enrolled in a college degree program in the Information Technology field.

Must be enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
