Job Description

The Department of Mental Health is seeking to hire a student intern who will assist in the completion of a housing information database for managing utilization of department housing resources. The intern will set up records and create a tracking system for DMH Rental Voucher Program to ensure efficient management of leasing. The intern will work with work collaboratively with Area Staff under the direction of Central Office on data management structures to support oversight of and utilization of affordable housing within DMH.

Preferred Qualifications:

* This internship opportunity is for undergraduate student who must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited College or University.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Suite, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
* Ability to develop presentations and present to groups and public audiences.
* Ability to work with diverse populations.
* Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.

Period of Service:

May 28, 2019 through August 30, 2019

Additional Information:

* Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.
* All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.
* The salary range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00 an hour.

* Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

* Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
