LOCATION OF POSITION

MDH, Charles County Health Department, White Plains, MD

Main Purpose of Job

This position, serving as the Deputy Health Officer, is responsible for directing and managing all programs operations within the Charles County Health Department. Job duties include planning, integrating, monitoring, and operating all divisions, particularly with regard to finance and program sustainability. This position supervises all Division Directors, as well as other personal assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and six years of professional experience related to health care service delivery, including three years in a supervisory or managerial position.

A Masters degree will substitute for one year of general experience. Additional experience will substitute year-for-year for the college degree.

SELECTION PROCESS

This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority. A resume must accompany your application.
