Starbucks Digital Workplace (DW) / Mobile Development

As a Digital Workplace Intern, you will build on your existing knowledge and work to provide a meaningful and lasting contribution to your team by assessing new projects and features, writing clear, concise, reusable code, and releasing new code to our internal partners.

We'd love to hear from students with:

* Superior strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
* Core development expertise and the ability to build and deploy apps.
* Ability to absorb new concepts and architectures into your development work.
* A desire to grow into a leader on the mobile development team.

Internship Qualifications:

* Ability to work full-time from May 18, 2020 to July 31, 2020.


* BA/BS or higher in Computer Science


* Masters or PhD student with iOS development experience and apps in the Apple app store preferred


* Currently accepted and enrolled in the Computer Science or Software Engineering program at Arizona State University.


* Completed coursework or experience in Python, SQL, Swift, Java, Objective-C, C , C#, data structures, and/or database systems


* Understanding of algorithms, systems architecture, and end-user experience


* Anticipated graduation between December 2020 and August 2021 preferred.


* Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.
