Job Description

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an intern to reside in our Denver, Colorado office. This role will support our local engineering staff with geotechnical design and operations support projects. Specific tasks may include: collecting and organizing data, preparing calculations, preparing charts and graphs, modeling using Excel or other software, backchecking technical memoranda corrections, writing portions of technical memoranda, researching technical information, proposal and resume writing, client interactions, presentations, note taking, field investigations, coordinating production of reports, and support of design documents (plans and specifications).

Your Key Responsibilities

The Intern must have good attention to detail. They need to possess a willingness to assist full time staff with various tasks. The core competencies for this position include:

* Good communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations


* Positive attitude with strong relationship building skills


* Flexibility to learn new skills.



Your Capabilities and Credentials

* Minimum 40 hour per week commitment during school breaks, or 10 hours per week while enrolled in classes.


* Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within the team.


* Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.


* Good MS Office skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.


* Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D a plus.



Education and Experience

* Currently enrolled in college/university and/or on summer break between semesters.


* Minimum 3.0 GPA. This GPA must be maintained throughout the internship.
